    One Year In!

I can't believe it! It's just not possible that I've been in Honduras for a YEAR. To celebrate a few of us took a trip to Trujillo, a sleepy beach town on the North Coast. We hiked up a mountain and got some beautiful shots of the coast from above... Absolutely gorgeous!

Also got my nose pierced! (Sorry, Dad!) It's not that bad I promise. I think it actually looks quite good. Here is a picture of me with my friend Meghan - if you zoom in you can see it.

Ok, lots more going on, will update when I get a chance ...Does anyone read this other than my father?

I think it was you mom. She's sitting next to me onher laptop telling me that you have new pics up. What a couple of nerds we are. Or are we dorks? Or geeks? What IS the difference?

BTW, the views are stunning. Thanks.

Apparently there is a slight difference between the two words. Personally I think the 'geek' definition is more applicable to our family. See below.

    dork-
a stupid or ridiculous person; jerk; nerd.

    geek-
    1. a carnival performer who performs sensationally morbid or disgusting acts, as biting off the head of a live chicken.
    2. a peculiar or offensive person, esp. one who is perceived to be overly intellectual.
    3. an expert in computers (a term of pride as self-reference, but often considered offensive when used by outsiders.)
